Pakistan is experiencing a great revolution in its energy sector. The solar industry of Pakistan is enjoying a boom without any support from the government. Despite lacking support from the government and ailing policies, Pakistan is leading the world in solar panel import. According to the British energy think tank Ember, the country experienced a remarkable solar surge with almost double the imports than the previous year. This year Pakistan imported almost 17 GW of solar panels, which is an organic surge without any global investment.
